If you’re having shoulder problems, give this series of five drills a try, your shoulders will thank you for it.

The serratus anterior stabilizes, protracts and rotates the scapula, and quite often, is inherently weak on most people.
.
If there is a problem with the scapula directly, either a basic instability or more severely, a winged scapula, then you want to tackle all of these.
.
One thing I’ll throw in here, is that if it’s an injury to the long thoracic nerve, you’ll want to have that assessed by a competent doc prior to hammering these out.
.
Now that being said, if it is an actual nerve lesion, understand that quite often, this still works, it just takes substantially more time.
.
Regardless of the cause, making sure that your shoulders move and groove like they’ve been filled with butter is one of the best things that you can do.
