Felipe Rose comes to a real audition all in his full Native Gear and Jacques Morali at the moment decides that he will get other men to fit the roles to create the new group called The Village People. Well to the say the least the first group was a disaster and everyone was fired except Felipe and new members were brought in to create the disco band that was etched in our minds from the moment we saw all of them on the hit TV Show American Bandstand. Felipe also played the sleigh bells and additional percussion on Macho Man and a few of the other big songs from the album. They are the first boy band before boy bands are even created. The auditions to be in the group were listed in Variety Papers and some performers were dared to show up with the craziest outfits out there of the time. The 1st album was signed to Casablanca Records and went on to achieve double platinum status in the USA and all of them in the group were rolling with so much money right after. Listen to Felipe share his conversation with Disco Artist Sylvester on his rooftop home. Saturday Night Fever broke out and YMCA blew up. Hear the story of Disco sucks and the burning of all the Disco vinyl in Chicago as Felipe was witness to this absolute devastation of the disco genre. As with every great story there is also the part of dealing with Felipe losing the rights in a court case settlement over the Village People. He also speaks about his new single “Dance Again” and the importance of the next steps he is taking in his professional life.

The song was a cover version of the song "Pass the Kouchie" by The Mighty Diamonds, which deals with the recreational use of cannabis, "kouchie" being slang for a cannabis pipe. For the cover version, the song's title was bowdlerized to "Pass the Dutchie" and all obvious drug references were removed from the lyrics; e. g., when the original croons "How does it feel when you got no herb?", the cover version refers to "food" instead.

⁣The European Union is interested in a scheme to block out the sun to change global weather patterns. According to a document seen by Bloomberg, the EU is developing a framework for looking into these idea in order to combat climate change. Global scientists have called for an “international non-use agreement on such solutions” for many reasons. Chief amongst them: we don’t know what undesirable chain could be set in motion by messing with the global ecosystem. This sun blocking scheme has been promoted by Bill Gates and George Soros. It involves pumping white clouds into the atmosphere to block the sun.

DJ Sneak (born Carlos Sosa; November 5, 1969) is a Puerto Rican born American DJ and record producer raised in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He is noted as being one of the second wave of Chicago house producers, (alongside Derrick Carter, Cajmere/Green Velvet, Gemini, James Curd and Paul Johnson) as well as a member of the vanguard of late-1990s United States house producers.
In 1983, Sneak moved to Chicago from Puerto Rico, where his early musical experiences and influences were rooted in salsa, merengue and Latin orchestras. In Chicago, Sneak found inspiration in underground house music, warehouse parties and "old school" mix tapes from the early pioneers, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Ralphi Rosario, Steve Hurley and local radio station shows played on WBMX.
Sneak earned his nickname rocking graffiti-tags and began working at retail stores as an airbrush artist. His development as a DJ came while working regular mobile DJ jobs and local nightclubs. Sneak focused on his music production and started his independent label - Defiant Records.
In 1994, while still working at local store Gramophone Records, Sneak met Cajmere (Green Velvet) owner of Cajual and Relief Records. Cajmere released three of Sneak's catalyst tracks, which helped bring him international recognition.
In Ibiza, Sneak has participated in several events with Ministry of Sound, Cream, Manumission, and Miss Moneypenny's. Sneak currently resides in Los Angeles, California, US.
Lyrics by DJ Sneak are featured in the Daft Punk song, "Digital Love", from their 2001 album, Discovery. In 2001, Sneak launched a new record label Magnetic Recordings, where he has been releasing new music, with compilations to come, along with the introduction of new musical talent.

TRUE HOUSE STORIES W/ CRAZY P # 090 - PART 1
Todd and Baron formed the band after meeting at the Nottingham University. The band's sound incorporates soul music, disco and house music. By 2002 the band expanded to include bassist Tim Davies, percussionist Mav Kendricks, and vocalist Danielle Moore. Todd explained the origin of the band name: "A flat mate of mine had a record called 'loco pinga' which roughly translates to Crazy Penis, we were going to call ourselves loco pinga but once we told people that, they liked crazy penis better for the shock value.” They were signed by Manchester label Paper Recordings and have since released six albums and several singles, starting with "Digging Deeper" in 1996. They built up a strong fanbase in Australia where they have toured several times.
