TRUE HOUSE STORIES™ W/ DANNY TENAGLIA SPECIAL SHOW 006 - PART 1
Danny Tenaglia starts his beginnings in Williamsburg Brooklyn listening to Motown, Rock and Philly International sounds that was being played on the radio during that era. Born in the 1960’s and one of the younger of his siblings he lived through the musical changes of the1970s and music to him was everything. With his aunt inspiring him with her piano playing he tries to learn different instruments but he finds it is not for him. So, he starts to work out on how to be a DJ. Through his older brother he is able to start playing at a neighborhood bar with a dance floor and this is around 1975-1976. His older cousin brings an 8-Track tape mixed by Queens DJ Paul Casella, this is where Danny decides to call the number on there to reach out to him and asks to meet him. Paul becomes an important mentor by showing Danny the ropes of what it is to be a DJ from mixing and hunting for the right music at certain record shops in Brooklyn. This is the Second Anniversary Tape which was recorded live by Lenny Fontana from the radio that happened live at the Paradise Garage which aired January 1979 on WBLS FM New York with DJ Larry Levan, Frankie Crocker, Dan Hartman and Loletta Holloway, Sylvester and Mcfadden and Whitehead. Along with fellow DJ Eddie Gordon & Mike Morin Legends of the Dancefloor was created.

Ganz in der Tradition seines berühmten Vaters Bob Marley stehend, ist Julian Marley ein gläubiger Rastafari, dessen Musik und Leben von Spiritualität geprägt sind. Marley ist ein Humanist und Philanthrop, der sich musikalisch von vielen Kulturen inspirieren lässt und dabei stets Rastafari bleibt.
1975 wird der jüngste Sohn von Bob Marley in London geboren. Seine Kindheit verbringt er zwischen England, wo seine Mutter Lucy Pounder lebt, und Jamaika. Schon früh lernt er Keyboard, Schlagzeug, Bass, Gitarre und andere Instrumente und nimmt im zarten Alter von fünf Jahren im Marley-Familienstudio auf Jamaika sein erstes Demoband auf.
Zusammen mit seinen Brüdern Ziggy, Damian und Stephen gründet er die Plattenfirma Ghetto Youth, mit der junge Talente aus den ärmeren Regionen der Welt unterstützt werden. 1996 erscheint sein erstes Soloalbum "Lion In The Morning", gefolgt von einer Welttournee. Sein drittes Album "Awake" wird 2009 für einen Grammy als bestes Reggae-Album nominiert.

Meanwhile, the World Economic Forum hosts conferences about 'brain transparency', discussing how all our most intimate, personal data will be stored in the cloud and controlled by Big Tech.


All this falls in line with the announcement of the WEF that by 2030, no one will have any privacy. Klaus Schwab says we will have to get used to a society of "full transparency", where everything we think, feel and dream is monitored.

TRUE HOUSE STORIES W/ MIKE DUNN # 080 - PART 2
Word soon spread about his talents and Mike Dunn was booked for various clubs in and around Chicago, DJ’ing with house music innovators such as Ron Hardy, Larry Heard and good friend Armando Gallop. It wasn’t long before Mike got the production bug, resulting in his first release in 1987, “Dance You Mutha” on Westbrook Records, he also started to produce and engineer for other Chicago artists, such as Armando, Fast Eddie and K-Alexi Shelby. More house and techno productions followed in the late 80s with Mike’s distinctive vocal delivery and trademark hip-house, acid, production style, to create tracks such as ‘Let It Be House’, ‘Magic Feet’ and “Face the Nation”, sometimes under the name Mike Dunn but also under aliases such as MD Connection, MDIII and QX-1. He continued to produce and release throughout the 1990s, with releases on labels such as Nervous, Nitestuff and Tribal America, whilst also working with other producers and vocalists such as Syleena Johnson, Byron Stingley, Mina Jackson, Kool Rock Steady and Kym English to name a few. Puff Daddy in the late1990s stepped to Mike and signed him to a production deal with the artists he managed and produced in hip hop artists.
