Crystal Waters in this part shares with us her life after success and at the same time trying to define herself as a true dance pop artist. She was in the middle of a divorce and battling with her production company and record label over the contracts through her lawyers. As you will hear from herself this is never an easy thing to be dealing with especially when there is a lot of money involved. It's a constant battle to learn the new techniques that are happening in the music business and at the same time trying to balance it all, especially working with different personalities like managers and promotion people, but she finds her way through it all. Eventually, she is dropped from her record label Mercury Records and works on her singing career one song at a time. She discovers new success through working with different producers. One European Italian DJ steals her song and remixes it, adds his name next to her as a feature and it becomes a huge hit. Actually, it hits #1 in 41 countries on the pop charts. Listen to how her song "Destination Calabria" brings another huge success to Crystal in the ever-changing times and new landscape with streaming. This episode is a true history lesson and learning tool all in one.

Linda Clifford shares with us how she was able to achieve her recording contract with Curtom Records based out of Chicago and the start of her recording career. She goes into detail what it was truly like working alongside singer / songwriter Curtis Mayfield and his staff. The first album release is of cover tunes of the era and this was truly the beginning but the second album is where things really take off. Listen to her tell you how she began her touring life playing all the successful clubs like Studio 54, Red Parrot, Paradise Garage and traveling abroad. Linda decides to take a break from the club and stage life and leaves the industry to take on a more important role, motherly duties. She is blessed to have a wonderful marriage with her husband of over 43 years and raises two beautiful kids into fine adults. She returned to the stage during the children's teen years for different track dates at clubs around the USA. Finally she is called by Martha Wash to join the new group "First Ladies of Disco" and she has been performing ever since along with Norma Jean Wright. Come watch the full story.

In this series we introduce you to exciting producers within the Liquid Drum & Bass genre.
In this episode Rafau Etamski is taking over!
Rafau Etamski is musician and producer from Bydgoszcz, Poland.
He started his musical journey 10 years ago producing hip hop instrumentals.
Gradually through increasing the tempo of this genre, he became to familiarise himself with Drum & Bass to the point where 175bpm has taken over.
Creating a great passion for DnB and all its sub-genres, from the darker sounds of neuro to his preferred sound of choice, liquid.
With influences coming from his love of hip hop, jazz and funk, he tries to incorporate these elements and the inclusion of all live instruments, into his productions today.
This episode is mixed by Rafau Etamski's friend Ponk. Enjoy!
